      Will Lawler, Director of Compliance at the University of Tennessee, has been named Assistant Commissioner for Compliance with the Southeastern Conference, Commissioner Mike Slive announced Thursday.

    SEC Media Days: The Numbers
    The 2012 SEC Media Days are in the books. The record setting event, held at the Wynfrey Hotel, saw all 14 schools in the Southeastern Conference gather to preview the upcoming football season. While the buzz around this event was the largest it has ever been, the numbers behind it further explain the story.     Life At SEC Media Days: Elvis Is In The Building
    On Tuesday at SEC Media Days, Elvis was officially in the building. This version of the "King" wore gold and black, as offensive lineman Elvis Fisher made the rounds at the conference's largest media event. The talented Tiger, who is quite popular on Twitter, got the chance to represent his Missouri squad here at the Wynfrey Hotel.     SEC14: New Year's Eve In July
    It was like celebrating New Year's Eve...in July. After nearly a year of speculation, announcements and transition, Missouri and Texas A&M officially became the 13th and 14th members of the Southeastern Conference on midnight this past Saturday/Sunday. The experience of #SEC14 (the hashtag used to signify the event on Twitter) was much like the start of a new year, or in this case, the dawn of a new era.  Full Story
