Atlanta, Ga. -- 24 hours to go.
Friday at the Georgia Dome is all about preparation, as the field changes from the home of the NFL's Atlanta Falcons to the home of the SEC Championship Game. This year's turnaround was even faster than normal, as in the span of hours after Thursday night's NFL game, the place transitioned to the SEC's home away from home.
The SEC logo is everywhere, not just at the Dome but all over the city of Atlanta. Atlanta truly embraces this event, and the moment you arrive you feel as if an SEC event is in town. Each place you go (you'll see in the photos below), the SEC logo is prevalent, a reminder of Saturday's big matchup. I've attemped to capture some of that prepartion and feeling, as I put together the gallery below from Friday's events. Both coaches (Mark Richt and Nick Saban) spoke with the media, the final chance to answer questions about Saturday's all-important contest..
