LSU’s Kimberlyn Duncan, the reigning winner of The Bowerman, collegiate track and field’s highest honor, has been named a semifinalist for the 2013 edition of that award, the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Association in New Orleans announced Tuesday.

Three Southeastern Conference student-athletes are among the 10 men’s semifinalists for The Bowerman, collegiate track and field’s highest honor. Texas A&M’s Wayne Davis II and Sam Humphreys, and Ole Miss’ Sam Kendricks are the SEC athletes who were named semifinalists on Monday in a release from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in New Orleans.

In recognition of the standout season by all three aspects of the program, the University of Arkansas men’s cross country and track and field team has been named the 2012-13 John McDonnell Program of the Year.
