    • 2011 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll

      A total of 534 student-athletes were named to the 2011 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll, Wednesday by SEC Commissioner Mike Slive. The 2011 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2011 Spring, Summer and Fall terms.
    • SEC Student-Athlets Earn Fall Graduation

      324 former and current Southeastern Conference student-athletes earned their academic degrees this fall. The complete list of graduating students is listed below.
    • SEC "We CAN" Drive Raises 500,000 Pounds

      The Southeastern Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee’s annual league-wide community service project, the Together We CAN Drive, concluded on October 2. This year’s effort raised more than 121,400 pounds of food through the efforts of student-athletes and administrators from all 12 SEC institutions.
    • SAAC Committee Begins We CAN Drive

      The Southeastern Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is coordinating its fifth annual league-wide food drive during the dates of Sept. 16-October 2. All 12 SEC institutions will participate by collecting food and financial donations at various sporting events, community locations and on campuses.
    • SEC Names Kramer Athletes Of The Year

      Tennessee tennis player John-Patrick Smith and Alabama gymnast Kayla Hoffman have been named the 2010-2011 Roy F. Kramer SEC Male and Female Athletes of the Year by a vote of the league's athletics directors, Commissioner Mike Slive announced today.

    Mission Statement

    The Southeastern Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, which represents diverse views and backgrounds of student-athletes, was established in 1992 to serve as a medium of communication through which student-athletes, conference administrators, institutional representatives and coaches discuss and take action on issues relating to rules governance, student-athlete welfare and community service.
